The area surrounding Lake Maggiore is known as the “Golf Green with a view” because there are many golf courses. Players can spend a great day on the courses, playing and admiring the splendid views of the lake and the Alps.

From the town of Stresa (which offers plenty of excellent conference centres) it is easy to reach famous golf courses such as the Golf Club des Iles Borromées (that also offers a spectacular view of the lake) and the Golf Club Alpino, which is 500 metres above the level of the lake. This particular course has sun most of the year and mild temperatures.

Every Golf Club has its own style and charm and they all offer players an unusually beautiful natural environment to play in.

A day on the golf courses can be included in an incentive activity programme or as free time activity for participants attending conferences by Lake Maggiore or Lake Orta.
